Amendment #2: Updated Statement of Work has been included and the Responses due date was also updated. The 42nd Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, Alabama is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested sources capable of providing services necessary to Mixed Reality Simulations services. This is not a Request for Proposal, but instead a market research method to determine the availability of small business firms for a potential small business category type set-aside. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought. See the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the general description, requirements, and specifications. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: a. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. b. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. c. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. d. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought. To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: GENERAL INFORMATON: a. Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. b. Type of business, (i.e., small, 8a, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.). c. Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described in the attached SOR. d. Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. CAPABILITIES: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in meeting the requirements of the attached draft SOW. Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements contained in the attached “draft” SOW: a. Is your company capable of meeting this requirement in accordance with the attached “draft” Statement of Work (SOW)? b. Is your company capable of meeting all requirements via your existing Federal Supply Schedule?
