The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL is seeking information from industry to assist in finalizing the acquisition strategy for Holm Center Officer Training School (OTS). OTS receives a large volume of sensitive documents on a consistent basis. These documents may contain personal identifying or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). OTS currently has a shredder on site, but due to increased volume and changing regulations regarding the destruction of CUI, it is no longer capable of fulfilling mission needs. Because of this, OTS, requires seven (7) document destruction systems (i.e., shredder, disintegrator, etc.) for the destruction of unclassified sensitive documents that meet the requirements outlined in DODI 5200.48/DAFI 16-1403 and are on the list of approved models outlined in NSA/CSS EPL- Paper Shredders (Attachment 3). The Government is seeking information from industry to assist in determining what types of products and capabilities are available in the market for this type of requirement outlined in the attached DRAFT STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT (SOR) (Attachment 1). The requested delivery date is 30 September 2024 Capable vendors should review the attached documents and respond to the posted Sources Sought Guidelines (Attachment 2) and provide both positive interest and capability statements prior to the deadline of Thursday 25 July 24 at 1300 EST (1200 CST).
