Source Sought Notice: The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL is requesting information from industry to assist in finalizing the acquisition strategy for the purchase of Giant Voice System spare parts that requires parts that are compatible with the original legacy system and not refurbished. The Government is seeking information from industry to assist in determining what products are on the market for these spare parts. The Giant Voice System here at Maxwell, AFB is ATI Systems (ATI) proprietary equipment. The Government is seeking information from industry to assist in determining what products are on the market for these spare parts identified in the table below. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought notice, so please do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. If the government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your sources sought notice response may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this notice. To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: GENERAL INFORMATION: Company’s full name, business size, address, point of contact and telephone number. Type of business, (i.e., small, 8a, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220, which contains a size standard of 1,250 Emp. CAGE Code and DUNS Number. Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described in the attached SOR. Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. CAPABILITIES: Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements contained in the attached “draft” SOR: Is your company capable of providing known equipment that is outlined in the “draft” SOR? If your company can provide the items above, utilizing other than ATI proprietary equipment, please provide documentation sufficient to support your capability (i.e. product data sheets, specifications, etc. If recommending a product other than an ATI proprietary equipment, is your product capable of fully integrating with the existing Giant Voice System, comprised of ATI products, without system alteration or functionality degradation.
