Brief Description of Requirement: LeMay Public Affairs has a requirement to contract the install of wired internet in three facilities located on Maxwell AFB, AL and provide internet service to those locations for a period of 5 years (One base year and four options years). Installation. The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, and supplies needed to install wired internet drops within three facilities listed in paragraph 1.3.1.1. Equipment must be current and up-to-date and adhere to all applicable industry standards. Installation service must adhere to all applicable industry standards and use proper cabling management techniques. Internet Service. Contractor will provide continuous uninterrupted internet service (24 hours a day, seven days a week) and maintain a 90% reliability rating. Satellite and cellular services will not be accepted because the can be unreliable during extreme weather conditions and have known latency issues. Contractor will provide an unlimited data plan for each location with no reduction to upload/download speeds during peak network use.
