The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL, has a requirement to purchase systems modular furniture and demountable walls. This requirement includes design, delivery and installation of new systems modular furniture, demountable walls, new communications cabling, and Work Area Outlets (WAO), as well as dismantle and removal of the existing systems modular furniture, demountable walls, and existing communications cabling on Maxwell AFB in accordance with the attached DRAFT Statement of Requirements (SOR) (see Attachment 1). All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking information from industry to assist in determining what types of products and capabilities are available in the market for this type of requirement outlined in the attached DRAFT SOR. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit quotes. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought. To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: GENERAL INFORMATON: Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.). Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described in the attached DRAFT SOR. Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. CAPABILITIES: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in providing the items identified in the attached DRAFT SOR. Is your company capable of meeting this requirement in accordance with the attached DRAFT SOR, to include all furniture, insallation, cabling, outlets, etc.? Please respond “Yes or No.” If your response to question 2 (a) above was “Yes”, please provide any relevant supporting documentation to support your company’s capability of meeting ALL requirements (i.e. product guides, brochures, past performance information, etc.).
