Part # PC-T21A-GBLK Currently Laughlin AFB operates th... **Payment Will Be Made Using The Government Purchase Card (GPC)** Four hundred (400) PIVOT iPad Mini cases for all aircrafts at Laughlin AFB, TX. Part # PC-T21A-GBLK Currently Laughlin AFB operates three different aircrafts as part of the pilot training program. Pilots utilize Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) for flight training that are equipped with tablets that contain electronic flight information publications including navigational charts and digital publications such as Air Force Instructions and Technical Orders. The aircrafts are currently equipped with PIVOT mounts and Apple iPad Mini’s. The iPad cases are needed to secure the iPads that will clip on to the PIVOT mounts. This requirement is for a brand name purchase of four hundred (400) PIVOT iPad mini cases. The 47th Operations Group (OG) will need to have all of the current and future EFBs use the same mounts so switching brands is not an option. These quotes will be used to establish competition. Similar purchases have been made using GSA, but this particular item is no longer on the vendors price list. Market research indicates that brand name will lead to the best outcome for the government. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
