*****Synopsis***** The 47th Contracting Flight, Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB), TX, is seeking responsible sources to establish a Firm Fixed-Price Contract in which the awarding company will at a minim... *****Synopsis***** The 47th Contracting Flight, Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB), TX, is seeking responsible sources to establish a Firm Fixed-Price Contract in which the awarding company will at a minimum, provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and all other incidentals require to repair by mill and overlay several sections of the overruns on the Center Runway to include edge lighting to bring it up to current standards. The Center Runway is the only ILS/precision approach runway at Laughlin AFB and its overruns are in need of repair. The striping and edge lighting do not meet current UFC criteria. The degradation of the runway overruns generate potential for foreign object damage (FOD). Degradation has already been identified as severe during findings in 2010 PCI survey. The Contractor shall repair by replacement Center Runway Overrun Sections O06C, O07C, O08C, O09C, O10C, and T16A, and will include edge lighting and threshold relocation to meet requirements. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 - $6,000,000.
