The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, plant, materials, transportation, and all incidentals required to correct the discrepancies to the center runway overruns. Work shall include demolishing existing asphalt concrete overruns, asphalt paving of new overruns, removing/installing new arresting system duct bank/net anchoring system and removing/installing light bars and installing edge lighting and circuitry. All construction work shall comply with the 100% Design Drawings, 100% Design Specifications, LAFB Environmental Specifications and with all applicable State, Federal and Air Force requirements, codes and standards. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All small businesses will be considered. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 237310 and the applicable small business standard size is $39.5M. Any interested party may download a copy of the solicitation from this website once it has been released. Copies of the solicitation are not available for mailing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation.
