Hinojosa (830)298-4965 NAICS Code: 332311 This is a Sources Sought issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. Please note: The Air Force will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this request. Laughlin Air Force Base is in search of a business that can provide maintenance service for T-1 and T-6 aircraft sun shades located on the flight line. The work will consist of preventative maintenance which is the Air Force policy for existing aircraft sun shade sustainment. The objective is to maintain safe and reliable aircraft sun shades. Service provider shall sustain aircraft shades through scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair of deficiencies. Scope of service consist of management, labor, tools, and materials necessary to inspect, maintain and repair or replace aircraft sun shades, to include: structure, fabric (as applicable), light, electric, bird nesting mitigation, lighting protection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, fall protection as applicable. The sunshade locations consisit of 86 bays currently.
