The period of performance (POP) 1 October 2020 through 30 September 2021, with an additional 4 option years, potentially extending this contract until 30 September 2025. Although FAR Part 13, Oral Solicitation procedures will be used, this contract action is being posted to comply with FAR 5.101 (a)(1). If your firm is interested please ensure a quote is submitted no later than 04 August 2020. All quotes must be valid through 01 Oct 2020. T... The 47 MDG at Laughlin AFB is requiring Laundry service in accordance with their provided , Work Statement (PWS). The PWS is not yet available, but will be available when the solicitation is posted. The period of performance (POP) 1 October 2020 through 30 September 2021,with an additional 4 option years, potentially extending this contract until 30 September2025. The Contractor shall perform laundry services to include, pickup, linen receipt/weight verification, laundering, packaging, and delivery on a semi-weekly basis. The approximate number used in the current contract was for approximately 5,700 pieces per year, however, this figure may change during posting of the solicitation. The amounts are estimates and will fluctuate yearly. If/when solicitation is issued it will be in the form of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be available on Beta SAM formely known as the Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Opps). The tentative date to issue a solicitation is sometime between 22 June 2020 and 22 July 2020. The solicitation will only be posted for 10-15 days. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the interested parties reponsibility to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at prior to receiving award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in SAM will render their firm ineligible for award. Additionally, although we currently do not have the evaluation criteria a key factor to make this award will be to pass a facility safety/health inspection prior to award.
