NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The 47th Contracting Flight at Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB) located in Del Rio, TX, intends to award, on a Competitive Basis, a Fixed Price Purchase Order for one 2 ton floor jib crane. Oral solicitation will be utilized and a formal solicitation will not be posted on FBO as the government is using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government is contemplating making award within the next 14 days based on the lowest price technically acceptable quote received. This acquisition is a Total Small Business set aside, and is under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333923 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. Only those firms registered as Small Businesses (SB) under NAICS code 333923 in the System for Award Management (SAM) are eligible for award. This is not a request for quote, however if a firm is interested and meets the award criteria it must submit its intent of interest to the Contracting Specialist no later than 10 days from the date of this posting. Delivery of the jib crane shall be within 60 days after award. Interested firms must indicate whether they are registered as a SB concern.
