DESCRIPTION: The 17th Contracting Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, TX is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a 100-Ton Trane Portable Chiller. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, transportation, labor, and supervision required to manufacture, mount, and deliver all required equipment on a trailer in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics - 100 Ton Portable Chiller. NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR(S): Funds are currently available for this procurement. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the specified closing date. The Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The purpose of this notice is to meet the requirements at FAR 5.201. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFQ will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is no greater than 1,250 employees. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Small Business. DISCUSSIONS: The Government currently intends to make award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to hold discussions if it is in the Government's best interest to do so. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If, at the time of award, an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. It is the Contractor's responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website for information, updates, and amendments regarding the solicitation. EVALUATION: Evaluation factors for Award are detailed on page 36 of the attached RFQ (FA303025Q0010). The Government will utilize Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures and factors as detailed in the Evaluation Criteria. Please review all factors and criteria fully and carefully. INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS: Please fully and carefully review all required Instructions to Offerors on p.34 of the attached RFQ. Failure to comply with any of requested requirements in this Instruction to Offerors or any provisions may constitute sufficient cause to justify rejection of a quote.
