DESCRIPTION: The 17th Contracting Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, TX, is issuing a solicitation for a Flashover Trainer. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, transportation, labor, and supervision required to install a flashover trainer on existing concrete pad IAW Attachment 1- SOW Flashover Trainer and Attachment 2- Salient Characteristics Flashover Trainer. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFQ will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332311- Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is no greater than 750 people. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. DISCUSSIONS: The Government intends to make award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to hold discussions if it is in the Government's best interest to do so. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If, at the time of award, an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. It is the Contractor's responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website for information, updates, and amendments regarding the solicitation. EVALUATION: Evaluation factors are detailed in Solicitation FA303024Q0047 and the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method will be utilized by the Government. QUESTIONS: Please submit any questions relating to this solicitation in writing no later than COB 6 Sept . Questions shall be emailed to the Points of Contact listed below. The anticipated deadline for the answers amendment to be posted is COB 10 Sept. If there are no questions submitted there will not be an answers amendment. Quotes are due no later than 1 PM CST on 13 Sept. Completion Performance: 150 Calendar Days after Date of Award. Notice to Contractor(s): Funds are available for this procurement. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the specified closing date. The Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 requirements.
