Remove and replace three (3) 7.5-ton rooftop packaged units at Building 140 that contain R-22 refrigerant. These units must be replaced to meet the OSD mandate to phase out R-22 refrigerant by 2030 and because they are past their lifecycle expectancy and are predicted to fail soon, which would negate cooling for a large area of Building 140. The contractor shall install the new rooftop packaged units, maintain the roof warranty and lightning protection certification, and provide a way to lift the packaged units to and from the Building 140 rooftop. PSC-Z2JZ NAICS -238220 Size Standard - $19.0M Set Aside -100% Total Small Business Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Project (IAW FAR 36.204): Between $100,000 and $250,000. Site visit for this requirement will take place Friday, 14 June at 10:00 CDT at B140 on Goodfellow AFB. Base Access Letters (BAL) will be required for attendees (See attached). Send completed BAL requests no later than 12 June 2024 to uibin.kim.1@us.af.mil and patrick.berger@us.af.mil. Vendor questions are due by 17 June 2024 @ 12:00 PM CDT. Quotes are due 21 June 2024 @ 2:30 PM CDT. Note: Proposals must conform to "Instructions, Conditions, & Notices to Offerers or Quoters" section contained within the solicitation document to be considered eligible for award. Vendors must acknowledge all solicitation amendments in their offers. 8 June 2024 - Amendment 01: The purpose of this amendment is to add the construction disclosure of magnitude and change the work commencement date from 30 days to 10 days. 18 June 2024 - Amendment 02: The purpose of this amendment is to post the Q&A document with vendor questions answered by Civil Engineering, and SF30 of this amendment. Q&A document title is "B140 HVAC Vendor Questions 18JUN24_GOV Responses" in solicitation attachments. All other solicitation elements remain unchanged.
