The scope of work changed from one (1) boiler installation to two (2) boiler installaion. See Attachement 1 - Statement of Work - Revision 2. DESCRIPTION: The 17th Contracting Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, TX, is issuing a solicitation for two (2) boiler replacements at Building 520. The project consists of the Contractor entirely removing, disposing, and replacing the forced draft, gas-fired, heating water, AJAX boiler, Model # WRFG-2100, and installing one (1) new carbon monoxide (CO) monitor integrated into the new boiler onboard controls. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFQ will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract and will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation requirements and is the most advantageous to the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and the small business size standard is no greater than $19 million. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(c). DISCUSSIONS: The Government intends to make award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to hold discussions if it is in the Government's best interest to do so. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the specified closing date. The Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. It is the Contractor's responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website for information, updates, and amendments regarding the solicitation.
