AMENDMENT 1: The purpose of this amendment is to withdraw the small business set aside and extend the solicitation 18 days with a closing date of 29 Aug 2022 at 1:00 PM CST. The site visit for this project will be 19 Aug 2022 at 1:00 PM CST. All other dates and pertinent information can be found in the attached Amendment. We will be amending this requirement to full and open competition, allowing large businesses to compete. This solicitation is for a Base Pavement IDIQ for Goodfellow AFB, TX, and Goodfellow Recreation Camp. The work to be performed under this contract and in accordance with the Specifications (see attachment 1), shall consist of furnishing all necessary parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals essential for providing all work shown on the on each task orders, specifications, statement of work for each task order, and all applicable codes, regulations, standards, and criteria in effect at the date of the solicitation. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels the solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. A site visit is planned for 19 Aug 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Central Standard Time. Please send a notice of intent if you intend to send any contractors to attend the site visit, fill out the attached Base Access Letter (see attachment 6), and submit a copy no later than 17 Aug 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Central Standard Time to samuel.reynolds.5@us.af.mil. Please submit any questions from the site visit and/or relating to this solicitation no later than 23 Aug 2022 at 10:00 A.M. Central Standard Time in the form of a Request for Information (RFI) so that a Q&A answering any questions can be posted before solicitation close.

The 17th Contracting Squadron, at Goodfellow AFB, TX intends to issue a solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanity contract for the new work, reconstruction, and repairs of paving. This acquisition includes 34 CLINS and 40 SLINS including 136 additive options CLINS and 160 additive option SLINS. The period of performance will be 365 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed with four 365 day option periods. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is projected to be posted on or after 15 June 2022. The anticipated date of award for this requirement is 10 August 2022. All responsible vendors may submit a proposal to 17th Contracting Squadron. Oral bids WILL NOT be accepted. A Firm Fixed-Price award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is the most adventageous to the government.
