The 17th Contracting Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, TX, is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing water dehydration stations. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the Air Force in developing its acquisition strategy and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to it. The purpose of this RFI is assessment of vendor interest and will aid the government in identifying potential vendors and their business classification. The NAICS Code determined appropriate for this acquisition is 221310, Water Supply and irrigation Systems. The size standard associated with NAICS 221310 is $27.5 million. Vendors responding to this announcement shall indicate their business size for NAICS code 221310. Please include your CAGE Code and DUNS number as well. Responses shall be directed to Zachary Stone at zachary.stone.3@us.af.mil Salient Characteristics •- Water Trailers should be durable enough to withstand prolonged exposure to hot weather •- Must have an Electric Chiller to keep the water cold •- Must have Carbon & UV Water Filters •- Kiosk style Bottle fillers and drinking stations (4 or more) •- Trailer must be Portable •- Water tank can be stand-alone (minimum 50 gal) or connects to a public water source •- If cart connects to a public water source, the cart must come with a backflow valve Security Requirement This work is to be completed on a government installation. The Contractor shall obtain vehicle passes for each vehicle used on Goodfellow AFB during the performance period. The necessary applications for vehicle passes can be obtained by contacting the Base Contracting Officer. Before starting the work, the Contractor shall provide a list of all personnel that will work at Goodfellow AFB, to include Social Security number and driver's license number and state, to permit security screening. Any workers that are not cleared will be identified, and will not be permitted to work on Goodfellow AFB.
