This project aims to replace the outdated radio signal control system for the BAK-15 barriers on the outer runway with a modern fiber-controlled hard wire system. The estimated budget for this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A site visit is scheduled for August 4, 2026, at Columbus Air Force Base, with registration required by July 29, 2026. All requests for information must be submitted by August 10, 2026. Note that funds are not currently available, and the government’s obligation is contingent upon future appropriation.
