A secondary POC was added to this solicitation. The objective of this project is to remove and demolish the existing Cummins generator and to replace and install of the backup generator serving the Ground Air Transmit Receive (GATR) facility (B2048) and the attached fuel tank. Provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools required to complete a full replacement of the backup generator serving the Ground Air Transmit Receive (GATR) facility, B2048 at Columbus AFB. This replacement shall include the 120/208 V, 100 KVA Generator, the fuel tank (sized to match existing), and the automatic transfer switch (ATS) acting as the tie between the generator and the facility. All information must be provided to 14cons.pka.construction@us.af.mil ______________________________________________________________________ NOTE: When submitting your quote, the Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose qoute conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Factors being utilized to evaluate offers are: 1. Price: Combined Synopsis-Solicitation 2. Technical Acceptability: • Submit offer/qoute IAW the Statement of Work (SOW) Proposal shall be submitted via email to the following address (14.CONS.Construction@us.af.mil) no later than 12:00pm CST, 6 Jun 2024 in order to be considered timely. Site Visit is scheduled 21 May 2024 @ 1000 CST. Please meet at the COLUMBUS AFB Visitor Center. Questions are due in writing to the (14cons.pka.construction@us.af.mil) no later than 2:00 PM CST, 23 May 2024. The Government is not obligated to answer any questions submitted after the deadline. It is the vendor’s responsibility to monitor the solicitation posted herein for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. Any potential amendments will be posted in the same fashion as the solicitation. All Contractors who provide goods/services/construction to the DoD must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Failure to comply with SAM registration will deem the Offeror ineligible for award.
