The 14th Contracting Squadron located in Columbus AFB, Mississippi intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed- price contract for non-personal construction services, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the roof replacement of the Fabrication Shop (Bldg. 220) at Columbus AFB, MS. The project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: -Replace existing metal roof with new metal roof. The Contractor must, through design and construction, provide a new roof in conformance with (ICW) the letter and intent of this SOW to the satisfaction of the Government. -The new roof must prevent each and every (E&E) weather borne water leak through its surfaces, edges, penetrations, etc. into the building for at least 20-years. -New roof panels must not be placed in contact with rust or bare metal including contact with existing structure or roof penetrations.
