This is not an RFQ this is a only a Sources Sought RFI. The contractor shall provide the materials and conduct the installation of two VCC Client Workstations, two SAW 2 Client SQL Workstations and a Vindicator Security Server in the Primary and Alternate Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) in buildings 926 and 998 on Columbus AFB (CAFB), MS. The contractor will also provide the installation of all associated wiring, batteries, software, extenders, switches, monitors and like items. Additionally, the contractor will upgrade the firmware on all hardware, to include the existing 225 alarm points, to the newest Vindicator operating system. The contractor will perform a Contractor Verification Test of the installed systems at the completion of the install. The contractor will be responsible to resolve any internal or external issues with the software and hardware should issues arise during the verification test. Finally, the contractor will provide tools, parts, materials, supervision, transportation needed to complete the project in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (Draft SS Vindicator SOW dated 20200721 - 2 pages). 24 July 20 SYNOPSIS This notice serves to announce the intent of the 14th Contracting Squadron to solicit and issue a sole-source under solicitation number FA3022-20-Q-0324 for First-In Alerting Maint... 24 July 20 SYNOPSIS This notice serves to announce the intent of the 14th Contracting Squadron to solicit and issue a sole-source under solicitation number FA3022-20-Q-0324 for First-In Alerting Maintenance Services under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), IAW FAR 5.203(a)(1), at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. The anticipated issue date is 4 August 2020, with performance beginning on 1 October 2020. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials and other items necessary to perform 24/7 Monitoring, Maintenance, and Repair of the Westnet First-In Alerting System. The contractor shall provide at least two (2) on-site trips during each period of performance. Services to be provided during the on-site trips include diagnostics, level-setting, and any troubleshooting necessary to bring the system in- line with normal operating parameters. The contractor shall provide minor custom software changes to the system through the established VPN at no additional cost. This contract must be in place at Columbus AFB, MS 39710 no later than 30 September 2020. This acquisition is for a base period of 1 October 2020 through 30 September 2021, with four, 12-month option periods. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811213, Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $12M. The Product Service Code is J063, Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment – Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, however, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The government will consider all responses received within 10 days from the date of this publication. A determination by the government to not compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government.
