This Synopsis/Presolicitation Notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.204, Presolicitation Notices and FAR 15.201(c)(6), Draft RFPs. Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi intends to issue a solicitation for their Paving Civil Works IDIQ. Work will include providing all labor, equipment, plant, tools, transportation, and materials to perform various types of site work. The site work will include, but is not limited to, repair and construction of asphalt and concrete pavements including subbase and base course, installation of associated utilities, drainage structures, sidewalks, curb and gutters, rubber removal and painting of runways, taxiways, and aprons, and turf. A DRAFT Request for Proposal is attached to this synopsis. A Request for Proposal will be posted at a later date. The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA302219RA006; it will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation will be set aside for Small Business concerns with a $36.5 million Small Business Size Standard. Performance is to begin near July 2019 with a five (5) year ordering period and two (2) one (1) year options. The primary North American Industry Classification System code is 237310. The Federal Supply Classification code is Z2LB. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with Sections L & M of Solicitation FA302219RA006. The evaluation factors will be price, technical, and past performance. The solicitation will be available to view and download on the Federal Business Opportunity website (www.fedbizopps.gov). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
