Contractor shall furnish all plant labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, administration, and all else necessary to perform all work ordered under this Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. All work shall be accomplished in conformance with the terms and conditions specified herein. Individual task orders for SABER projects issued by the Contracting Officer under the contract shall be at prices specified in the RS Means Facilities Construction Cost Data book multiplied by the appropriate coefficient factor (which shall be carried out to 2 decimal points). Non-prepriced items (NPI) will be negotiated. An organized site visit has been scheduled for 26 July 2021 at 2:00pm CST. Participants will meet at the Columbus Air Force Base, MS, at the Visitor’s Center for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. This visit will include a visit to the SEED Project location and a tour of Columbus Air Force Base. The visit will not include a trip to Shuqualak Auxillary Airfield. Synopsis: The 14th Contracting Squadron, Columbus AFB, MS, intends to issue a solicitation on or about 7 July 2021 for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) construction efforts at Columbus AFB, MS, and Shuqualak, MS. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ contract Small Business Set-Aside 8(a). The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 236220, size standard is $39.5 million. The period of performance is 26 September 2021 through 27 September 2026, a five-year ordering period. This notice is not a request for proposal.
