This notice announces the intent of the 14th Contracting Squadron to issue a combined synopsis and solicitation for Aircraft Fire Trainer Maintenance Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation and all else necessary to provide semiannual maintenance services for the Columbus Air Force Base (AFB) fire training facility at Columbus AFB, MS. The period of performance will be 1 Oct 20 – 30 Sep 25, with four, 12-month option periods. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted with the solicitation. The combined synopsis and solicitation will be issued on 17 Jul 2020. This procurement will be a Total (100%) Small Business set aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 811310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $8 Million. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13. The evaluation criteria will be detailed in the combined synopsis and solicitation. Award of a contract resulting from this solicitation will be subject to the availability of funds. The synopsis and solicitation will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation available. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website.
