This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for two portable, multi-band tactical software-defined radio (SDR) systems for ground-to-air voice communications at Sheppard AFB, TX 76311. The transceivers must be ruggedized to MIL-STD-810, provide AES-256 encrypted communications, and be fully interoperable with military and civilian aircraft radio networks. The requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 334220, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Funds are not presently available, so no award will be made until funds are available; the Government may cancel the solicitation and has no obligation to reimburse offeror costs. Place of performance and acceptance is F.O.B. Destination at Sheppard AFB, TX 76311, and all solicitation documents, including amendments, will be posted to the notice.
