No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide steel and alloy REACT console materials with delivery to Sheppard AFB, TX. This RFQ is for varying steel and alloy items (Refer to Attachment 2- Product Specfifications and Salient Characteristics and Combo RFQ Form- 82TRSS REACT Console Steel and Alloy for description and quantity) to be utilized as trainer parts for 82TRSS Maintenance Squadron. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. ***AMENDMENT 2 (08/12/2024)*** The purpose of Amendment 2 is to provide an answer to the following question: Question: What is the grade of steel being requested for these items? Answer: Weldable, Low Carbon Steel (Mild Steel) in the dimensions specified for each item. *** AMENDMENT 1 (08/09/2024) *** The purpose of this amendment is to provide further clarification of specifications for CLINS 0001, 0007, 0009: 0001: 65 PCS of SQT 2 x ¼ x 20ft = 1300 ft (total) 0007: 28 PCS of SQT 2 x11 x 24ft = 672 ft (total) 0009: 35 PCS of SQT 1-3/4 X 11 X 24ft = 840 ft (total) As a result of this amendment, Combo RFQ Form- 82 TRSS REACT Console Steel and Alloy has been updated to reflect these CLIN clarifications. Additionally, this amendment provides the answer to the following question: -Can stainless steel be quoted for the specified items? Answer: No, regular steel is needed for specified items. The applicable NAICS code is 331110, and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. This requirement is a total set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation number is FA302024Q0083 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). See attached “Combo RFQ Form- 82 TRSS REACT Console Steel and Alloy” for the RFQ format. All documents including the solicitation (FA302024Q0083) and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments. Please reference Attachment 1- Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses.
