This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide 20(ea) walk through rental metal detectors, 13(ea) walk through metal detectors, 20(ea) hand held metal detectors, delivery, setup, tear-down, and ensure items working properly. The purpose of this requirement to provide these items for the rental of the Airshow staff to ensure safety. See attached PWS for a detailed description and salient characteristics of the commodity sought in this solicitation. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The applicable NAICS code is 334519, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is a total set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation number is FA302024Q0024 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). See attached “Combo RFQ” for the RFQ format. All documents including the solicitation, FA302024Q0024, and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments. The solicitation will close at 09:00AM CST on Monday, 4 March 2024. All solicitations must be submitted via email to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below. All questions must be submitted by 09:00AM CST on Friday, 1 March 2024. All questions MUST be submitted in writing to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below as well. All the requirement items above must be quoted as brand name or equal. Thirteen (13) Walk-through Metal detectors and twenty (20) handheld metal detectors must be delivered to Sheppard Air Force Base and placed in designated areas by 1200 on Thursday, 25 April 2024. Walk-through and handheld metal detectors must include enough associated supplies (batteries, battery packs, etc) for 30,000 personnel per day for an 8-hour duration. All walk-through and handheld metal detectors must be serviced between the hours of 1700 - 2100 from Friday, 26 April 2024 - Sunday, 28 April 2024. All walk-through and handheld metal detectors must be removed from Sheppard Air Force Base not earlier than 2000 hours on Sunday, 28 April 2024 and not later than noon on Monday, 29 April 202.
