The U.S. Air Force has a requirement for Consumable metals for the 366 TRS/ Det 6 Structures Apprentice Course at Gulfport, MS. Various metals to be used throughout the course to practice welding, shaping, and forming, as part of the course objectives to be a Structures Apprentice in the US Air Force. See below for the minimum salient characteristics: (80 Each) Steel Plate (Low Carbon), A36 3/8" x 4' x 8' or similar (40 Each) Steel Plate (Low Carbon), A1011- 11 Gage x 4' x 8' or similar (100 Each) HR Galvanized Sheet 26 Gage x 4' x 10' or similar (20 Each) Aluminum Plate, 5052-32 - .063 x 4' x 8' or similar.
