There are ramps once you enter the building so you are able to dolley the desks up to the second and third floors for transportation. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to post the Q&As and also to extend the deadline to 31 Aug 2023 at 5:00PM CDT. Question 1: Is there an elevator available? Answer 1: No. Question 2: Is there any sort of loading dock or would it be a street offload? Answer 2: There is no loading/unloading dock for any of the buildings. Bldg 1040 is a hangar so it will be delivered on that ground floor. Bldg 920 has 3 floors. Question 3: Is there parking near the building? Answer 3: Yes. Question 4: How many desks are going to the 2 different buildings? Answer 4: The quantity of the desks will simply be split in half. 35 to Bldg 920 and the other 35 to Bldg 1040. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additonal information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This BRAND NAME OR EQUAL solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide Instructor Desks to Sheppard AFB, TX. See attached 365 TRS 6th Gen Classroom Instructor Desks Combo, for a detailed description and salient characteristics of the products sought in this solicitation. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, TX anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The applicable NAICS code is 337214, and the small business standard is 1,100 employees. This requirement is a 100% total set-aside for small business concerns. All documents including the solicitation and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments. The solicitation will close at 1:00PM CDT on Wednesday, 30 Aug 2023. All solicitations must be submitted via email to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below. All questions must be submitted by 10:00AM CDT on Tuesday, 29 Aug 2023. All questions MUST be submitted in writing to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below as well.
