The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the forthcoming acquisition for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) Maintenance Services. This acquisition is to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, computer, fax, internet, phone, materials, supervision, and other items and services, necessary to operate and maintain the Elevators located on Sheppard AFB, Texas. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract and shall comply with all federal, state, and local environmental laws, rules, and regulations. The 82nd Contracting Squadron anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation number is FA302023Q0025. The projected basic performance period is from 01 October 2023 to 30 September 2024, plus four one-year option periods (01 October 2024 to 30 September 2028). The current VTE contract is due to expire 30 September 2023. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, this potential acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290, Commercial and industrial machinery and equipment repair and maintenance. The size standard is $22 million. The solicitation along with additional documents (Performance Work Statement, Appendices, Blank Price Exhibits, Wage Determinations, etc.) will be released approximately 1 June 2023.
