This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide construction project, Ice Machine Installation at Sheppard AFB, Texas. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The applicable NAICS Code for this construction project is 238220, with a size standard of $16.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is less than $10,000. This requirement is a total set aside for small business concerns. See attached Statement of Work for Construction Project Ice Machine Installation. The work to be performed under this contract and in accordance with these contract documents consists of furnishing all necessary plant, labor, materials, and incidental related work in execution of ice machine installation in Room 1088 of Building 1900 of Sheppard AFB, Texas. Project performance period will be a total of 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date to include time to design, construct, deliver materials, assemble, and install. The solicitation number is #FA302021R0011 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). See attached SF1442 for the RFP format. All documents including the solicitation, PR number, attachments, and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments. An organized site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM CDT on Friday, 13 August 2021. Participants are to meet at 82d Contracting Squadron, Building 1662. Only one site visit will be conducted. All questions must be submitted by 01:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, 17 August 2021. All questions MUST be submitted in writing to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below. Proposal to perform the work described herein is due to this office no later than 10:00 AM CDT on Monday, 23 August 2021. All solicitations must be submitted via email to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below. Hand delivery is also acceptable. Amendment 1: The Government has determined that the following change is appropriate for the above project. Please incorporate the following changes to the above referenced solicitation: The due date for Proposals has been extended to Friday, 27 August 2021 at 1100 CDT. Amendment 2: The Government has determined that the following change is appropriate for the above project. Please incorporate the following changes to the above referenced solicitation: Attached are the Questions with Answers asked at the Initial Site Visit on 13 August 2021. The Government is waiting on a completed Asbestos Report and will attach it to a follow on Amendment when received. The due date for Proposals has been extended to Wednesday, 01 September 2021 at 1400 CDT. Amendment 3: The Government has determined that the following change is appropriate for the above project. Please incorporate the following changes to the above referenced solicitation: A second site visit will be held to address Contractor questions about plumbing at the site. Second site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 01 September 2021 at 1300 hours. Please meet at building 1900, NCOA Academy, for the site visit. The due date for questions as a result of the second site visit is scheduled for Thursday, 02 September 2021 at 1100 hours. The due date for proposals has been extended to Tuesday, 07 September 2021 at 1300 hours. The Government is still awaiting an asbestos report so expect an additional amendment in the future with those results attached. Amendment 4: The Government has determined that the following change is appropriate for the above project. Please incorporate the following changes to the above referenced solicitation: Attached is the updated Questions and Answers document after no asbestos was found in the CMU or insulation.
