The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. INTERNATIONAL WASTE TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO LACKLAND TX DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation, supplies and facilities to pick-up, transport and properly dispose of bags of international waste as required by the guidelines of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), City, State, Federal regulations and at the request of an authorized government personnel. This waste consists of aircraft galley trash or agricultural plants that may contain harmful insects, bacteria, viruses or any other agricultural hazard that could spread disease or infestation if not contained or handled properly.
