The Government anticipates the need for Kubota Utility Vehicle Maintenance services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX. The Air Force has approximately 46 KUVs that require maintenance IAW manufacturer specifications and standards. All maintenance will be performed in a manner that will not void any existing manufacturer warranties with OEM parts as applicable. The intent of this requirement is to have contractor support in providing mobile services on location throughout JBSA. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to inspect, maintain and repair all KUVs by the use of mobile maintenance services, in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and safe operation. All work shall be performed in accordance with a PWS, manufacturer’s instructions, Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations that may apply. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The 502d Contracting Squadron, U. S. Air Force, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Randolph is formally announcing the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract (on a sole source basis) to Nexus CMF, 2825 East Cottonwood Parkway, Suite 330, Salt Lake City, UT 84121. Procurement requirement is for two (2) Nexus McCain Arthroscopy Systems to support the 59th Medical, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland. This acquisition is a new requirement and the Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) (1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
