The requirement is to install and upgrade 60 door locks to a hard-wire solution in accordance (IAW) with the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and all incidentals to properly install and upgrade the door locks IAW SOW. This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to accomplish the work required for the delivery and installation to replace locking mechanisms (electronic strikes and card readers) with fob access to dorm rooms for Building 1469. The contractor shall ensure the locking system and fobs are properly delivered and installed based on commercial industry standards. At this time, no questions will be addressed. Important Information: This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice required by FAR 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) at a later date. 2. Description: The solicitation will be issued as an RFP on or about 14 July 2022. The Proposal due date is tentatively planned for 03 August 2022. All responsible service disabled veteran owned small business sources may submit a proposal in response to the RFP, which shall be considered by the agency. 4. Additional Details: The Solicitation will be offered in electronic format only within SAM.gov. No hard copies will be provided.
