The scope of work for this project includes applying a non-slip protective coating solution and safety markings to the loading dock platform, open/drop off edge steel bracket, stairs and railings, safety posts, structural posts, and concrete curb. To maximize the lifetime of the loading dock platform the protective coating solution must be low maintenance and durable enough to handle the stress of heavily loaded forklift/hand truck traffic and the occasional dragged or dropped pallets and boxes as well as the effects of weather. Likewise, safety markings must also be low maintenance and durable enough to handle the challenges specific to each loading dock component.
