22 September 2021 - Amendment FA301621R00280003 The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Extend the response deadline to 27 September 2021 2. modify FAR 52.212-1 and FAR 52.212-2 3. Amendment - FA301621R00280001 An typographical error was identified in the Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items in regards to the due date for the questions. Questions are due 18 JUNE 2021 at 12 PM Central. Please see the solicitation amendment for full details. --Original Posting-- The Government requires support to perform Fire Extinguisher, Fire Suppression System, and UV System Maintenance at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, equipment, transportation, personnel, supervision and all other items necessary to perform all operations in connection with the inspection, testing, recharge, maintenance, hydrostatic testing, repairing and painting of fire suppression systems and halon fire extinguishers in accordance with (IAW) the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Fire extinguishers consist of 150-pound Halon 1211 and NOVEC 1230 Halocarbon wheeled units. Fire suppression systems consist of Dry Chemical Systems, Halon 1301 Systems and Wet Chemical Systems. These systems are located in various buildings on Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, Chapman Annex, Kelly Field Annex and Randolph. Contractor shall also provide regular maintenance to Caddy/Halton Ultra Violet (UV) Exhaust Hood systems located at JBSA Lackland and Fort Sam Houston. This solicitation is issued as a Total Small Business set-aside. A site visit is scheduled for 15 June 2021. Please see the solicitation for full details.
