The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA- Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing five (5) simulator patient monitoring systems also known as Hospital Virtual Simulation System (HVSS). The HVSS is focused on providing effective portable monitoring solutions for all specialties and can be used with standardized patients, manikins, or full body simulators. Features include high resolution display, present or on-the-fly scenarios, debriefing with checklists, and two-way feedback. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as quotes, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Based on the responses to this RFI and the market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small business or procured through full and open competition, and a single award may be made. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Display multiple cardiac rhythms and anomalies Capable of displaying noninvasive blood pressures, arterial line pressures, respiratory rates, and oxygen saturations at the minimum Display 12 lead EKG tracings with anomalies like Ventricular and Atrial Tachycardia, Ventricular and Atrial Fibrillation, Anterior MI, Antero-Septal ST Elevation, Anterior ST depression, Lateral ST, and Inferior elevation, etc. Operate in austere conditions with connectivity range of up to 100 meter between instructor and students Scenario controlled by the instructor tablet and displayed on the student tablet (serves as the patient monitor) Must be suitable for field training as well as indoor training with portable uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system and mobile hotspot The bag that holds all components must be rugged and durable; preferable in the field environment.
