The Government... This notice serves as the pre-solicitation synopsis IAW FAR 5.101(a)(1). The formal solicitation will be posted on or about 29 August 2020. At this time, no questions will be addressed. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The contract will be awarded for a 1 year period of performance. This requirement will be set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), NAICS Code 561710, with a size code of $11M. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that will be considered by this Agency. DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide non-personal services, that shall include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide a broadcast spray of pesticide, herbicide and insecticide at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph (JBSA RAN), the purpose of which is to mitigate to the maximum extent possible the risk of bird aircraft strike hazards (BASH), by the selection of a monoculture of a native grass species or a natural mix of grass species that are not bird food attractants. All work shall be performed in accordance with industry and commercial practices, using commercial/industry standard products, equipment, materials, supplies and tools.
