This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA301620U0208 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06. This purchase is restricted to Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334290 and the size standard is 750 employees. This is a requirement for delivery and installation of duress alarms (Vindicator Brand) for 502 ISG/JA (building 2484) at Lackland AFB. Site Visit: A site visit will be held 11 August 2020 at 10AM. All contractors planning to attend must register for the site visit before 11:00 CST on 7 August 2020 by sending an email to the Contract Specialist Mr. Cole Johnson at Cole.Johnson.9@us.af.mil. Contractors shall title the email “Duress Alarms Site Visit” and include the full names (first, last and, middle initial) of those attending along with Date of Birth and Driver’s License Number and State of Issue for all planning to attend. Additional details of the site visit will be forwarded to the registered contractors prior the scheduled date. Participation in the site visit is highly encouraged. Questions. All questions concerning the RFQ and questions resulting from the site visit must be submitted to Mr. Cole Johnson at Cole.Johnson.9@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, Ms. Karen DeLorenzo at Karen.Delorenzo@us.af.mil in writing no later than 18 August 2020 at 2:00 pm (Central). Answers to questions will be posted to the GPE with time allotted to prepare adequate quotes before the solicitation closing date and time. Please respond to this RFQ by emailing responses to: Mr. Cole Johnson at cole.johnson.9@us.af.mil and Ms. Karen DeLorenzo at karen.delorenzo@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 pm CT, 3 September 2020 (sooner if possible) in order to be considered timely. Any quote, modification, revision, or withdrawal of a quote received after the exact time specified above shall be determined as late and will not be considered unless received before award is finalized, the Contracting Officer determines that accepting the late quote would not unduly delay the acquisition, and it was the only quote received.
