This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION; not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirement exists. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. We are seeking information for a purchase order requirement for a fabric structure for the 350 SWTW at Joint Base San Antonio(JBSA), Texas. Per the Statement of Objectives (SOO) the fabric structure requirement is approximately 120’ wide by 200’ long to be used for at least a period of 5 years with the possibility of yearly extensions after that period of time. This pre-engineered structure needs to comply with all building codes and regulations (local, state and federal), able to withstand the design winds for the area and have the right fire and lightning protection systems in place to allow safe and efficient use. If necessary to place the new tent, contractor shall uninstall and pack ready for shipping the current Big Top Shelter erected at the site location. Please see the attached SOO for more information. Upon review of industry response to the Sources Sought, the government will determine the solicitation strategy. The Government anticipates competing the solicitation under a brand name or equal solicitation. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price (FFP) contract will be awarded. The NAICS Code is 332311 (Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing). Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. A response to this sources sought notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. Response Information: It is requested that interested business submit to the Contracting Office’s product requirement statement. The Product requirement statement shall address, as a minimum, the following: 1)Company name, address, phone number, point of contact, cage code and 2) state the product and specifications with capability of meeting the agency’s requirement. Any information provided is voluntary. The sources sought is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. All submissions must be made no later than 1:00pm CST on Tuesday, 27 November 2019.
