The 502 CES on JBSA-Lackland has a requirement for the replacement of glass in the Air Traffic Control Tower on Kelly Field in San Antonio, TX. The contractor shall remove the existing, damaged glass in a safe and efficient manner and install replacement glass of the air traffic control tower at JBSA-Lackland, TX IAW the attached SOW and applicable local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and laws. The air traffic control tower, or "the facility", is approximately 110 feet in height; the glass requiring replacement is near the top of the structure. The facility will be occupied and in full operation. The facility will be occupied while the work required by this contract is performed. The contractor shall provide all lifting equipment for parts and personnel, specialty tools, parts, qualified technicians, barriers and signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the work area while the Contractor is removing and installing glass and weather-stripping at the air traffic control tower.
