This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for a Multiple Award Construction Contract at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). JBSA anticipates to make five (5) to ten (10) awards as part of a Firm Fixed Price Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220 with the size standard of $36.5M. The purpose of this Sources Sought/RFI is to conduct market research to determine if capable and responsible sources exist to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive. This Sources Sought/RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought/RFI. The Sources Sought/RFI is to determine potential sources for information and for planning purposes only and market research to determine acquisition strategy. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought/RFI. The work consists essentially of but is not limited to new construction, design/build for new construction, renovation, alteration, repair, and associated architecture/engineering work at JBSA. Types of structures may include, but are not limited to administrative buildings, hospital and medical buildings, auditoriums, hangars, airfields, fire stations, garages, and prefabricated buildings. The estimated ceiling for the Multiple Award Construction Contract is $770,000,000 for the life of the contract and the maximum task order valued at $10M. The period of performance is anticipated to be a five (5) year base period, plus five (5) one (1) year option years, unless sooner exhausted. All firms must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive award. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the FedBizOpps website to: Vendors / Citizens - Find Opportunities, then search the solicitation number. The solicitation number will be included within the synopsis that will be posted prior to the solicitation. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). Telephone and fax requests will not be honored.
