No other changes to the solicitation have been incorporated. ************************************************************************************************************ Building 896 HVAC Replacement for the Unites States Air Force C5 Flight and Ground Training School (affectionately referred to as The C5 Schoolhouse) The work includes the demolition and preparation for replacement, removal, and full replacement of two (2) each, 5 Ton and two (2) each 15 ton air cooled down-flow Computer Room Air Conditioning Units (CRAC Units), their condensers, their fire alarm components, electrical feeds and circuits, and all appurtenances to result in a fully 100% turnkey replacement of the Computer Room HVAC System with a new, engineered and more energy efficient CRAC system. The Scope of this project is to inspect, test, audit, and otherwise investigate the existing facility computer room HVAC systems, usage, configuration, location and construction, and to provide the Government with a 100% complete, comprehensive, and detailed design to 100% IFC. The Contractor shall cause a comparison of this data and provide their findings in the form of a written Design Analysis. The DA shall include as a minimum, the discussion of the existing system, its ability or inability to meet the current load. The contractor shall provide a design that includes temporary air conditioning to meet the requirements of the space. This includes any generator, maintenance and fuel support

In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM), contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. This is a Design-Build Construction requirement for design, procurement and construction for the replacement and conversion of the HVAC units, at building 896 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA-LAK) in San Antonio, Texas. The project is to prep for removal, and full replacement of two (2) each, 5 Ton and two (2) each 15 ton air cooled down-flow Computer Room Air Conditioning Units (CRAC Units). The location of work will be on Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio Texas intends to award a contract with a 204 day period of performance. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000. NOTES: 1.
