(End of Comments) ****Amendment 03**** Amendment 03 is hereby incorporated into this solicitation; in summary, there is a revised SOW/Specifications included and the due date for bids has been extended to Friday 24 July 2020 at 9:00 a.m. local San Antonio, TX time. In addition, due to the increase HEPCON Charlie at JBSA the bid opening will be held at the Valley Hi Visitor Center Parking Lot; interested attendees are requested to follow the instructions in the revised Attachment 7. Representatives attending the bid opening will be required to wear mouth cover and follow social distancing guidelines. A copy of the questions/answers provided as a result of this solicitation and respective site visit are also included in this amendment. By doing this there will be no access issues as the contractors will not have to enter through an ECP - no passes required and no delays**** FA301620B0016 Amendment 02- 52.236-27 SITE VISIT, CHAGED TO READ THE FOLLOWING: Participants will meet: Directly at the site on the Binz Englaman Road bridge between the ECP and bridge itself on Tuesday 6/30/2020 at 9:AM Local San Antonio, TX time. As a result, the contractors will not have to enter through an ECP and no base passes will be required to attend the site visit. Amendment 01- 52.236-27 SITE VISIT , CHANGED TO READ THE FOLLOWING: An organized site visit has been changed to reflect the following: "Tuesday 30 June 2020 at 9:00AM Central". Participants will meet at 4196 Engineer Street, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. Participants will meet at the parking lot and depart to the site by 9:15AM Central." Individuals needing base passes, will submit request NLT Friday 26 June 2020 at 1:00pm Local San Antonio time.” This project is to repair Binz-Engleman Road at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The objective is to lift the sunken pavement area to the proper elevation by stabilizing road surface to improve the Binz-Engleman Road Embankment. This is a construction requirement in accordance with FAR Part 36. This project is 100% set aside for competitive small business. The NAICS for this requirement is 237310. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Repair Binz-Englemen Road from Bridge to Garden Dr by bringing the failed road portion back up to proper elevation by utilizing Deep Injection Stabilization of Binz-Englemen Road and embankment. Work performed will be deep injection stabilization of a two part polymer: High Density Polyurethane Polymer (HDPP). Contractor shall perform injections in accordance with (IAW) the drawings and specifications. The contractor shall follow and abide by, but not be limited to the Unified Facility Criteria (UFC). UFC 03-270-01 (O & M MANUAL: ASPHALT AND CONCRETE PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR), dated 02/2018, authorizes High Density Polyurethane Polymer (HDPP) and deep injection (DI) for repairs and maintenance.
