Here is a general idea of what services may be sought: Bike Stations with 4 or 5 bikes per station. Bikes are locked, but unloaded and accessible via an app on riders smart phone. The base pays for free access for all trainees and all permeant party dorm airmen. At least 8 total bike stations (30-40 total bikes) located around Keesler at the following locations: Biloxi Hall Dorms Ocean Springs/Gulfport Dorms Training Triangle - Magnolia DFAC Training Triangle – Azalea DFAC Training Triangle Levitow Hall (“Fish Bowl”) BX/Commissary BBEC/Golf Course Marina Park Bike Share company must have insurance Bike Share company will need to perform any required maintenance on bikes (and/or replace/repair broken bikes) Bike Share company will track bikes via GPS and redistribute bikes to all stations daily The base will fund the service for all trainees and unaccompanied dorm airmen, but all others who wish to use the service can download the app and pay to unlock a bike (e.g., families, NCOs/SNCOs/Officer, etc., e.g., PayPal)
