This is a non-personal service requirement for NextGen sequencing bioinformatics pipeline interpretative services. Contractor personnel shall provide services for samples provided by Keesler Medical Center (KMC) as required for Government beneficiaries at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), MS. The proposed service contract will provide approximately 2,500 - 4,000 Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) analyses and approximately 1200 - 2,500 medical exome capture kits per year. This service shall include pre-validated NGS capture kits to generate Exome sequence librairies and provide comprehensive data analysis, variant calling, and recommend variant classification for multigene and Exome NGS panel analysis. Period of Performance will be 12 September 2022 - 13 September 2023, plus four one-year option periods.

This notice serves to announce the intent of the 81ST Contracting Squadron to issue a solicitation for Bioinformatics services on a non-personal services basis at the Keesler Medical Center located at Keesler Air Force Base, MS. The Contractor shall provide Bioinformatics services in accordance with (IAW) this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the professional standards, guidelines, and regulations of the American College of Medical Genetics. The period of performance for this requirement is estimated to be 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2027, for a total of 66 months. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be posted with the solicitation. The solicitation will be uploaded to https://www.sam.gov on or about 8 June 2022. The solicitation may be posted earlier or later. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to 100% set aside for Small Business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 621511 (Medical Laboratories) and the small business size is $36.5 Million. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the website for any postings and/or solicitation changes, amendments, and closing date. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available and no verbal responses to this synopsis will be accepted. Solicitation and all amendments (if any) shall contain an original signature. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation.
