Questions & Answers: 1. Do they want to Issue & Return the items or track / find by cycle count & location? Answer: There is a maintenace focal point where devices will be brought to for initial configuration and tagging and/or repair, this will have a check in/check out function. The other devices that are not within that area will be scanned on location with RFID guns for location and inventory accuracy 2. Can they provide examples of items? Answer: laptops, desktops, routers, switches, servers, surface pros, access points etc 3. Are we expected to provide the RFID tags, assign the tags and associate them in the database or will they provide resources for us to train? Answer: We have a .csv file to import in the management software, that will be used to setup the initial database. In the training the tags can be printed/configured for the devices, and show staff folks who will continue the process locally. 4. How many total points of entry do they want visibility -buildings, floors, warehouse, storage, etc.? Answer: At this time there will be one check in / out location. The hand held will go to on site locations to conduct inventories 5. If we deploy RFID solutions across multiple building for asset tracking -we will be provided a sub network or guest network to create a on premise solution? Base connectivity needs to be define early to determine what we will be able to offer.? Answer: The training network will span 5 buildings at this time, with more in the future. The on prem servers are housed in one of those locations. The guns will be used to go to locations for scanning/inventories. No other tracking solutions will be in buildings at this time, but would like to have options in a future expansion down the road. 6. Will the USB Scanner be used in a SCIF environment and is RFID a future consideration or part of the requirement. Answer: The USB scanner will be used in a check in/out maintenance section. NO SCIF 7. Do you require a laptop or tablet to be sold with the unit or will you be using an existing unit. Answer: No, we will be using existing units 8. How will the (2) RFID scanners connect to the network? Wifi or Cellular plan. Answer: INTERNAL WIFI
