This notice serves to announce the intent of the 81st Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source non-personal service contract for Teleradiology Services for the Keesler Medical Center located at Keesler Air Force Base, MS. The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to the Sources Sought Announcement, issued on 12 Mar 2019, titled Teleradiology Services. The approved Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached to this notice. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 621512 (Diagnostic Imaging Centers) and the size standard is $15.0M. The acquisition will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.5. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the soliciting and negotiating with only one source. The period of performance for this requirement is estimated to be 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2024, for a total of 60 months. Questions concerning this notice can be addressed to the attention of Eric W.
