COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FA300220Q0010 338 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) *** Please carefully review the following special notes, instructions, clauses, and provisions contained herein to ensure compliance and eligibility for award. *** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Acquisition for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice and attachments. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Brand Name or Equal, Request for Quote, IAW 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, for two (2) ITW GSE 6400 JetEx 28 VDC GSU Cummings Diesel Engine Generator Tier 4, with Start-Up training at delivery location. See Attachment 1, Salient Characteristics. Offerors shall respond to this RFQ by email response to: Ms. Melody Taylor at melody.taylor@us.af.mil and Mr. Kevin Searles at kevin.searles.2@us.af.mil; not later than 10:00 am CT, 10 September 2020. This solicitation is a Total 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 335312, Motor and Generator Manufacturing, size standard is 1250 employees. Only quotes submitted by small business concerns will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not a current small business will not be considered for award. Basis for Award. 338ESS/PKC will issue a single fixed-price purchase order to the vendor who is determined to quote the best value to the Government. Best Value Determination. The responsible, technically acceptable, lowest priced quote will be determined to represent the best value. Technical acceptability will be determined by an evaluation of the quoted requirements that meet the technical criteria contained in the solicitation. Delivery: Delivery shall be FOB Destination to 812 AMXS/AGE Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, FL , with all associated costs included in the price of CLIN 0001. Items are shall be delivered within 30 days of purchase order (NET 30).
