This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) control point is a specified location where the event organizer, or a designated representative or an “Air Boss” manages the aviation event. The control point must have a communications system with the capability necessary to control the aviation event and invited assembly of persons. In order to meet the control point requirement, the contractor shall provide all the necessary personnel, supervision and any other items necessary to provide services as the Air Boss and run an Open House Control Point at the Joint Base Andrews (JBA) Open House, 12-14 September 2025. The contractor shall provide all the necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and any other items and services necessary to provide an Open House Control Point for air boss services for JBA Open House, 12-14 September 2025 in accordance with (IAW) the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Quotes in response to this solicitation must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist (Primary Point of Contact) and Contracting Officer (Secondary Point of Contact) listed above no later than the response deadline listed above. Questions must be emailed to the contract specialist and contacting officer by 30 April 2025 no later than 4:30PM EST.
